First Steps
Now that you are logged in you are good to go!
If you do not own an island, you should start with finding Sticks and Ropes floating around the Hub ocean to make a Fishing Rod.
After you are able to craft a Fishing Rod, you can check the Fishing page for more detailed guidance, or the crafting page for more crafting recipes.
The next thing you should do is fish Sea Junk until you get a total of 5 Empty Tuna Cans. From here you can craft a Bucket, and then craft a Watering Can. You can water any dry crops on any Island for a 5% chance to receive a Worm which will give you a boost when competing for a big fish.
Starting on an Island
If you do not own an Island, you will need to join someone who does own one. Currently this is the only way to play beyond fishing and watering crops.
In the near future there will be Public Islands available to all players.
Every Island starts with 1 fully grown Palm Tree, a Wood Axe, and the basic terraformed island featuring 12 blocks of grass, 12 of stone, and 20 blocks of sand.
For more information on Islands please visit the Island page.
