The Homestead update is one of the major content updates for the Castaways game during alpha. It contains new functionalitys both on and off islands.
The Homestead update:
- Farming
- Composting
- Bird Feeding
- Seeds, Crops, Trees, Scarecrow, Wood Hoe, Stone Hoe, Watering Can, Barrel, Bird Feeder, Worms
- Seagulls
- Day and Night cycles
- Weather
- Island Permissions
- Torches
- Sacks
- Updated Hunger Values
The Homestead Update was released on November 28th, 2022 during Town Hall at 3pm PST, 6pm EST.
