The Merchant Update (Part 1)
The first part of the Merchant Update was first released on January 9th, 2023 and fully released on February 20th, 2023.
The Merchant Update is one of the major content updates for Castaways. It allows any player to claim a free island by going to the Hub and trading a compass to the Captain. With this update players finally do not need to own an NFT in order to play. In addition to this there are many new Blocks and Crafting recipes and a whole lot more!
