* Once the [[Hunger]] bar is depleted, players will start losing hearts as well.  
* Fall damage will deplete a players hearts. Falling repeatedly from or once from a great enough height will result in the loss of all inventory held by your character.
* When the [[Combat Update]] is released, Hearts will be lost when other players attack.
* In a future update the team will introduce fall damage (but for now hearts will NOT be lost from falling)

Hearts are restored by depleting the [[Hunger]] bar, so have [[Food]] available to restore [[File:Icon hunger full.png|32px]].

Players start with 10x Icon health full.png. They must maintain their health in Castaways or else they will need to be revived.
