The Captain is the first NPC in the world of Castaways. He stands next to his boat in Hubs with a sign saying "Free Boat Rides". By giving him a Compass, any player can claim a free Island. Shortly after dropping you off on your new island, the Captain will abandon you to survive on your own. He has a bird living in his beard and is slightly taller than the player's character.
