But, at the same time, it seems to remain on every list of the top movies of all time despite its shortcomings. Nonetheless, people rave about the movie while neglecting the lack of character development despite the fact that it is a whopping 3 hours long. The next film on the list is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Here we have a beloved classic franchise and an exciting adventure. It should have delivered on so many levels. These are four of the most overrated movies of all time in my book. To be fair, all of these movies had amazing qualities that made them great. Unfortunately, these bright spots were often overlooked due to the hype that encircled them. Therefore, while we may still love these movies, their followings may have been a bit overstated.
