Resource Generators

Resource generators are an extremally important part of the Castaways economy. They create the most important Blocks used for Crafting and Smelting.

Coal Mine

A Coal mine is a Resource Generator. Coal mines are a generative source ofCoal which is the most important resource in the game and used for Smelting. Island owners can be upgrade their coal mine to allow other players to use them while earning Coal passively. Anyone to use the Coal Mine by walking up to it. In the mines a coal will spawn periodically according to a timer displayed at the top of the screen. By destroying the block of Coal Ore using a Pickaxe the player can obtain a piece Coal. The mines refills with Coal every hour.

Iron Mine

An Iron mine is a Resource Generator. Iron mines are a generative source ofRaw Iron. Island owners can earn Raw Iron passively. Anyone to use the Iron Mine by walking up to it. In the mines an iron will spawn periodically according to a timer displayed at the top of the screen. By destroying the block of Iron Ore using a Pickaxe the player can obtain a piece Raw Iron. The mines refills with Raw Iron every hour.

Volcanos

Players may collect lava every 24 hours by using bucket and receive a Lava bucket. The 24-hour refresh countdown starts when you collect the lava. Lava is used in to power the Generator.

Generator Chests

The owner of Coal Mine or Iron Mine will get Coal or Raw Iron whenever their mine is mined by other players as passive royalty. The royalty will be stored in Generator Chest, and the amount of it will be equal to the amount that got mined by others. You can right-click the Generator Chest to access and collect your royalty.
Note that the storage limit of the generator chest is 64 items, you need to collect and empty the chest before the royalty starts to accumulate again.
