Resource Generators
Description[edit]
Resource generators are an extremally important part of the Castaways economy. They create the most important Blocks used for Crafting and Smelting. Generators are exclusive for NFT Island and free public islands do not have them. In order to use a resource generator on your Island, you must first Stake your Island.

Coal Mines[edit]
A coal mine is an upgradable resource generator that exists on all Generation-1 islands. Coal mines are a generative source of
Coal which is the most important resource in the game and used for Smelting. When you upgrade your mine it will be unavailable for 24 hours.

Iron Mines[edit]
An Iron mine is an upgradeable resource generator that only exists on Generation-2 islands. Iron mines are a generative source of
Raw Iron. When you upgrade your mine it will be unavailable for 24 hours.

Volcanos[edit]
The volcano is a generator that exists on all Generation-1 islands. You will be able to collect lava every 24 hours by using bucket and receive a Lava bucket. The 24-hour refresh countdown starts when you collect the lava. Lava is used in Smelting to create Stone. The volcano cannot be upgraded at this moment.

Volcano
Generator Chests[edit]
The owner of Coal Mine or Iron Mine will get Coal or Raw Iron whenever their mine is mined by other players as passive royalty. The royalty will be stored in Generator Chest, and the amount of it will be equal to the amount that got mined by others. You can right-click the Generator Chest to access and collect your royalty.
Note that the storage limit of the generator chest is 64 items, you need to collect and empty the chest before the royalty starts to accumulate again.
